Jam Session ft. Tobi Sinclair
COME JOIN THE LAST JAM SESSION OF THE YEAR!
Thursday Night Jams session are a welcoming space for musicians, poets, singers and attendees to play non-stop music with one another in an open circle, "living room" setting! Even if you don't jam, we have a variety of art supplies to get crafty during the show. This week's jam is hosted by Tobi Sinclair!
Alcove Photo Club Photo Editing Session
Hang out with fellow photographers while working on your photo edits. Share tips to learn and improve!

Music Production Workshop
This workshop is aimed at teaching the fundamentals of music production. This is intended for beginner producers who are getting into music production for the first time. All experience levels are welcome! All you need is a computer, a notepad, a pen and a heart that is open to learning.

Canada Bridges Tibetan x Indigenous Youth Story Jam
Canada Bridges is collaborating with Tibetan Association of Alberta and the UCalgary SU’s Students for a Free Tibet - U of C club to bring together a beautiful evening of cross-cultural sharing between the local Indigenous communities of Treaty 7 and diverse Tibetan communities of Mohkinstsis (Calgary).
Everything is White & Mexican Legends (Puppet Show)

Raw Voices is a monthly spoken word, comedy and music show that happens last Friday of the month. This showcase will include feature performances from a local poet, comedian and music & open mics. This program is proudly sponsored by: Calgary Downtown Association!

We will be making a piece in an unconventional way! Instead of thinking I need to get from A to B it's going to be more like getting from A to Watermelon, where you have all your tools and skills for making but take a more random approach to having an end art piece.

Creatives Mixer & Art for Social Change Hub Night
Our Creatives Mixer happens quarterly and brings together people that Alcove collaborates with, local creatives, individuals who work in the sector, supporters and key players such as (but not limited to) grants organizations, media outlets, politicians, City Administration, property management groups, and Business Improvement Areas. This event is in partnership with Art for Social Change Network: Calgary Hub (ASCN).
