Tyson Bankert (Or Coach T) Is a community-based artist who runs the playful program, Recess Calgary. Tyson (He/Him) currently has a residency with Calgary Arts Development Authority exploring play in public spaces.

Tap back into imagination, let's create new worlds, invite yourself to a future that has endless possibilities. It takes a sense of curiosity, wonder and courage to consider a new way for our communities. Here at Recess, come gather to learn concepts like creative placemaking, playful futurism and how to rethink use of public space by creating your own micro-installations.

All creations have the possibility of being displayed in a placemaking outdoor gallery in Riley Park on August 20 & 21st.
