Photography Print Exchange in collaboration with local photographers group, Calgary Rando Photowalks.
This in-person event is a great opportunity for local photographers of all levels to connect, learn, and share their passion for photography. Free to attend, just make sure to bring a print!
How the Print Exchange works:
1) Print an 8x10 photo
Please bring only 1 print (London Drugs or Walmart are good options)
Keep the photo in an envelope without a name written on it (keep it anonymous)
2) We will place our prints face down on a table and randomly pick a photo. If you get your own print, please swap it with another print.
3) Each person will show the photo they selected to the group and the person who took that photo will briefly talk about it.
What's the point? A lot of us photographers have never even printed our photos before so, it's a new process we can all learn. If you find that you enjoy it then you can print more in the future! Plus you get the opportunity to take home a piece of art!
Alcove Photo Club 2024 Zine
Alcove Photo Club will be releasing its first Zine and members are welcome to come pick up their copy during the event.
