Reading Rainbow with Chromatic Theatre

  • The Alcove Centre for the Arts 244 7 Avenue Southwest Calgary, AB, T2P 0W6 Canada (map)

Chromatic Theatre's "Reading Rainbow" is a book club-type play reading series exclusively for racialized (BIPOC) community members. The purpose of this affinity space is to bring BIPOC folks in the Calgary community together to share space. At this event, we will sit together and read a play by a racialized artist, then chat about the play, and get to know each other! It's an exercise in getting familiar with the wide variety of theatrical works across Canada and an exercise in building community.

For this Reading Rainbow, we will be reading the staged version of KIM'S CONVENIENCE by Ins Choi!

- Free event
- Limited spots, requires registration by emailing kodie@chromatictheatre.ca
- This event is best suited for those that identify as BIPOC and are over the age of 18.
